This is an unexpected chat on instagram. It all happened when I followed a bunch of animators and illustrators and Chris Luk's Instagram is on the suggestion list. I was not aware of his name, the only thing I saw is 'Junior Animator in Disney' so I followed him just want to keep up with his work. Suddenly he message me and asked if I studied in LCA and obviously I was so surprised and started having conversation with him in a few days. He is very nice and I have asked him a lot of questions about the college life, the current job and other experience stuff. He also gave me some suggestion when I asked for some. He encourages me to talk to more people, and be nice to everyone, keep sketching ideas everyday and email talented people if I want to learn from them. These advices are just like what mike always say to us, to me, it is very easy to say....Nevertheless I have been pushing myself to talk to others since this year. I am happy that he could look at my work if he is free and it is good to have some professional who had actually been to where we have been and maybe sit at the same place! I am planning to practice drawing everyday so as to improve my drawing skills to I might be able reach my dream with a bigger chance. After all, I like to keep contact with Luk and his work is very inspiring.
